Cheernastics program for boys & girls age 5 years through 8th grade.  This is a progressive learning process with four levels.  In each level a child will be required to execute all tasks for that level in their proper form before moving to the next level.  Our staff places strict focus on safety & correct form while gradually building the child’s strength and flexibility needed to effectively perform these gymnastics.  Your child’s level of capability will be determined by our coaching staff. 

LEVEL 1 (BLUE) 4:00–5:00 PM

Children in this level have no previous gymnastics training OR are unable to perform weight bearing gymnastics.  They will learn foward & backward rolls, bridges & cartwheels in proper form.

 LEVEL 2 ( BRONZE)  5:00-6:00pm

Just one step up with more focus on form, strength and flexibility.  At the completion of this level, each child will have mastered roundoffs, handstands and back walkovers.  This level will also introduce basic cherleading jumps.  To move onto the next level, the child must be able to support their own body weight, perform a bridge kickover and tuck jump on their own.

LEVEL 3 (SILVER)   6:00 – 7:30PM

A child will continue with developing strength & flexibility while beginning to learn standing backhand springs and also continue to master floor gymnastics and more intense cheerleading jumps.

LEVEL 4 (GOLD)  7:30 – 9:00PM

At this level focus will be placed on performing full splits, standing backhandsprings, roundoff backhand springs and back tucks in proper form.  Children will also learn how to properly execute all cheerleading jumps.

  Progression will be determined by the coaches at the end of each session.

NEW SPRING SESSION BEGINS 5/5 AND ENDS 6/23/10

• This session will run for 8 weeks, beginning May 5th and ending June 23rd.
• Registration fee: $85.00 Levels 1 & 2 (class time 1 hr.)
• Level 3 & 4 fee: $100.00 (class time 1-1/2 hrs.)

Class sizes limited, enrollment based on availability.  Returning students have first chance at registering.
